Police treating house fire as suspicious, Hamilton 1 June

Detectives are investigating a suspicious fire in Hamilton earlier this afternoon (June 1).

Around 2:15pm, emergency services were called to a fire at an unoccupied house on Nudgee Road.

No one was injured but the house sustained extensive damage.

A crime scene was declared while police examined the area.

The house next door was destroyed by fire on Sunday afternoon (May 30). The investigation will attempt to establish whether these two fires are linked.
