Police treating house fire as suspicious - Rouse Hill

A crime scene has been established after fire damaged a house in Sydney's north-west this morning.

Emergency services were called to Pellegrino Grove, Rouse Hill, about 4am (Saturday 9 January 2021), and found the two-storey brick home well-alight.

Fire and Rescue NSW fire-fighters extinguished the blaze with only minor damage sustained to the building.

There was no one home at the time.

Detectives from The Hills Police Area Command are investigating the fire, with Crime Scene Officers and Fire Investigators expected to examine the scene later this morning.

The fire is being treated at suspicious with police believing it was a targeted incident.
