Police uncover hydroponic set ups during morning search warrants

Police have located a significant quantity of cannabis plants during the execution of search warrants at two addresses this morning, Queensland Police say.

Detectives from State Crime Command’s Drug and Serious Crime Group executed the first warrant at a Farrier Court, New Beith address and located a hydroponic system with what is believed to be approximately 500 cannabis plants.

A separate search warrant was executed at an address in the Greenbank area. Police have also located a hydroponic set up with approximately 400 cannabis plants.

The investigation remains ongoing and police continue to process the scene.
