Police update 1: Burglary and Wounding, Coorparoo

Police are seeking public assistance to locate a silver Hyundai iX35 stolen from Forest Lake which is believed to be linked to a burglary and wounding at Coorparoo this morning.

The vehicle (pictured) registration 435VJP was stolen during a robbery from a residence on Flinders Crescent, Forest Lake early this morning.

Police were called to Buena Vista Avenue home in Coorparoo at around 3am this morning in relation to four people, a 47-year-old man, a 46-year-old woman, a 21-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman who were injured by three intruders who were allegedly attempting to steal their car.

Two 15-year-old boys, from Goodna and Springfield Lakes, were taken into custody and police are calling upon anyone else involved attend their nearest police station to assist with investigations.

Investigators urge anyone who may have seen the silver coloured Hyundai, or knows its whereabouts, to come forward.
