Police update 1: Missing man, Carseldine

Police are coordinating a search and rescue operation for a 67-year-old Carseldine man missing since yesterday (Friday, December 22).

Police have reviewed CCTV from Carseldine Railway Station which revealed Grzegorz Gulajski entered a city-bound train at around 4.40pm yesterday.

Grzegorz was reported missing by concerned family after he was last seen in Wimbledon Circuit sometime after 4pm.

Police and family are concerned for Grzegorz's welfare as he has a medical condition and may be disorientated. He also has limited English.

Grzegorz is of Polish descent, approximately 170cm tall, proportionate build with blue eyes and grey hair.

He was last seen wearing a green shirt, blue pants and a blue hoodie. He may be wearing a black cap.

Searches of the local Carseldine area this morning included SES personnel and police checking bushland and urban areas.

Anyone who may have seen Grzegorz on the train, or anyone with information is urged to immediately contact police.

Police continue to review CCTV footage and updates will be provided when additional information is available.
