Police update 1: Three charged over Kallangur armed robbery

Petrie detectives investigating the alleged armed robbery of a Kallangur business in December last year have charged three people with armed robbery and multiple other offences.

It will be alleged at approximately 7.30pm on December 24, two people entered an Anzac Avenue business and threatened an employee with what appeared to be a firearm before stealing cash and tobacco products.

Detectives from Petrie Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) launched Operation Victor Divide resulting in multiple search warrants being executed on Redcliffe addresses on February 8, with police allegedly locating two replica firearms, cash and dangerous drugs.

Police arrested a 58-year-old Clontarf woman on February 8 charging her with one count each of armed robbery and arson, and 15 drug-related offences.

She was remanded in custody and is due to re-appear at Pine Rivers Magistrates Court on April 3.

On February 22 detectives arrested and charged a 43-year-old Clontarf man and a 43-year-old Albany Creek woman in connection with the alleged armed robbery.

The man was charged 20 offences some of which include armed robbery and arson of a motor vehicle, he is due to re-appear at Pine Rivers Magistrates Court tomorrow (February 24).

The woman was charged with one count each of armed robbery, arson of a motor vehicle, attempted fraud, possessing dangerous drugs and possess tainted property.

She appeared before Redcliffe Magistrates Court on February 22 and is due to re-appear at a later date.
