Police update 2: Homicide investigation, Redbank Plains

Detectives from Ipswich and the Homicide Investigation Unit investigating the homicide of a 70-year-old woman at Redbank Plains overnight have released vision of four persons of interest, as investigations continue.

Investigators believe the four people depicted in the vision, captured from a Bruny Street, Springfield Lakes address yesterday evening, may be able to assist them with their enquiries.

The vision also depicts a vehicle of interest previously mentioned in an earlier media release, a blue 2009 Hyundai Getz with Queensland registration 432 TYO.

Investigators are now appealing to anyone who was in the Redbank Plains and Springfield Lakes areas between 6pm and 7pm last night, February 3, and may have seen either the vehicle or these persons, to contact police.

Those with relevant vision, including CCTV and dashcam footage, are also asked to come forward.

Investigations are ongoing.
