Detectives have charged a man following investigations into a woman being indecently assaulted in Ferny Grove on 19 June.
It will be alleged between 3.50pm to 4pm, a 23-year-old woman was approached by a 22-year-old man while she was walking her dog on Hogarth Road.
The man verbally engaged the woman before he allegedly indecently assaulted her and fled on foot.
A public appeal for information generated lines of enquiry which led to a search warrant at an address in Brisbane's inner west and the man's arrest on 19 July.
The 22-year-old Brisbane inner west man was charged with one count of sexual assault.
He is expected to reappear before Brisbane Magistrates Court on 15 August.
Media and the public are thanked for their assistance.
