Police update 2: Shots fired, Harristown

Toowoomba detectives have charged a man following a firearm incident in Harristown last weekend (May 6).

A 39-year-old Toowoomba man has been charged with one count of going armed so as to cause fear and one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle in relation to that incident.

The man was also charged with five counts of stealing, three further counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, two counts of receiving stolen property, one count of burglary and five counts of drive whilst disqualified.

He was denied police bail and will appear in Toowoomba Magistrates court later today.
