Police Update 2: Stolen Vehicle At Chinchilla

A 39-year-old Westbrook man has been charged with almost 20 offences following serious alleged incidents involving multiple stolen vehicles across the Darling Downs and South West District.

The man was arrested shortly before 1pm yesterday outside a Toowoomba café by specialist police.

He has been charged with four counts of robbery with violence, four counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, one count each of dangerous conduct with a weapon, attempted robbery, and unlawful possession of weapons.

The man is expected to appear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court today.

Investigations continue and further charges are expected.
