Police update 3: Cold case homicide investigation - Priscilla Brooten, Bracken Ridge

Detectives investigating the disappearance of Bracken Ridge woman Priscilla Brooten have released images of a vehicle of interest as they continue to appeal for public assistance.

Investigations are continuing into the circumstances surrounding her disappearance since 46-year-old Ms Brooten was reported missing in December last year.

As part of ongoing inquiries investigators reviewing CCTV footage are particularly interested in motorists or members of the public who may have witnessed a white sedan towing a trailer travelling around the Strathpine area on Monday, May 6 this year.

Police are appealing for anyone who may recognise the vehicle to come forward.

A 43-year-old man yesterday charged with murder and misconduct with a corpse by interfering has been remanded in custody to reappear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on July 15 after a brief appearance this morning.
