Police update 3: Search for missing man at North Keppel scaled back

The search for 60-year-old Gary Flower who went missing in the Keppel Islands has been scaled back.

His family has issued a heart-felt thanks to police along with the search and rescue personnel involved in the extensive search for their much-loved family member from Dysart.

Gary was last seen in the early hours of Tuesday morning (January 14) in Keppel Bay.

A sea, air and land search operation spanning in excess of 125 square nautical miles of his last known whereabouts has been unsuccessful in locating him.

Water police will continue to search tomorrow and shoreline and beach patrols will be conducted.
