Police update 3: Sunnybank shooting

Police have charged a second person with accessory after the fact as part of the investigation into the shooting of a man and woman at Sunnybank on Saturday, June 22.

On July 3, police charged a 41-year-old man from Pallara with two counts of being an accessory after the fact to attempted murder. He is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on July 8.

On June 23, a 24-year-old Doolandella man was charged with multiple offences including two counts of being an accessory after the fact to attempted murder. He appeared in Brisbane Magistrates Court on June 24 and was remanded in custody to next appear in court on July 22.

Police investigating the shooting are still appealing for public assistance to help locate Brendyn Clark, a 38-year-old Sunnybank Hills man, who may be able to assist with the investigation.

Mr Clark is described as Caucasian, approximately 175cm tall with a slim build, very short sandy/ginger hair and green eyes.

Anyone who sights Mr Clark is urged not to approach him but to immediately call triple zero (000).
