Police update 4: Homicide investigation, Coopers Plains

Detectives attached to Task Force Voltron have today apprehended a man in relation to the suspicious death of Andrew Walsh.

An extensive examination of a Coopers Plains business resulted in police locating the body of Mossman man, Andrew Walsh.

Today, members of the Australian Federal Police acted on information from Queensland Police detectives in apprehending a 27-year-old man at Sydney Airport on behalf of Queensland Police. Task Force Voltron detectives will seek to commence extradition proceedings tomorrow.

Further targeted forensic testing will occur at the Musgrave Street premises which remains the link between the suspected homicides of Andrew Walsh and Lachlan Griffiths.

The current whereabouts of Lachlan Griffiths remains unknown.

Detectives continue their appeal for information on the disappearances of both men as investigations continue.
