Detectives from the Hendra Criminal Investigation Branch have charged two men in relation to an alleged armed robbery in Lutwyche on 9 January.
It will be alleged, two men armed with a knife forced entry into a Lutwyche Road business just before 7.30am before threatening a female employee and stealing a quantity of cash and the employee's wallet.
The pair allegedly fled the scene on a blue motorcycle prior to police arrival.
Following extensive investigations, police executed a search warrant at a Beams Road residence in Boondall around 6.40pm, where a 36-year-old man was taken into custody in relation to the matter.
Investigators also arrested a 43-year-old man at a Summerstone Boulevard address in Morayfield just after 10pm that same day.
A 36-year-old Boondall man has been charged with multiple offences including one count each of armed robbery, deprivation of liberty (unlawfully detain/confine) , and enter premises with intent to commit an indictable offence.
A 43-year-old Sandstone Point man has been charged with multiple offences including one count each of armed robbery, deprivation of liberty (unlawfully detain/confine) , and enter premises with intent to commit an indictable offence.
Both men are due to appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
