Detectives investigating a house fire in Toowoomba in February have charged a man with attempted murder (domestic violence).
It will be alleged just after midnight on February 13 a 43-year-old woman was located out the front of a burning house in Quinlan Court, Darling Heights with wounds to her head and torso.
She was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A 36-year-old Darling Heights man was located nearby just before 2am. He sustained serious burns to his face and body and was taken to hospital.
At a bedside hearing today (May 25) the man was charged with one count each of attempted murder and arson, as well as two counts of possessing dangerous drugs.
The man has been remanded in custody, due to appear before the Toowoomba Magistrates Court in July.
