The Northern Territory Police Force has charged a key person of interest in relation to a crime series in Katherine over Tuesday and Wednesday, 24 and 25 February.
The 24-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday afternoon and has been charged with:
- 2 x Go armed in Public
- 3 x Aggravated Assault
- 1 x Attempted Aggravated Robbery
- 2 x Aggravated Burglary
- 1 x Aggravated Robbery
- 4 x Recklessly endanger cause serious harm
- 1 x Act intended to cause serious harm
- 1 x Drive MV Manner Dangerous
He was remanded in custody to appear in Katherine Court today.
Investigations are ongoing to determine the identities of other offenders alleged to have been involved.
Acting Superintendent Katherine Division Warren Scott reiterates "The NTPF will track down any offender putting the safety of the community at risk.
"This kind of behaviour will not be tolerated, and police will continue to identify and hold offenders to account."
