Police update: Charges - Property offences in Darwin 29 October

Northern Territory Police have charged another man following investigations relating to property and other offences that took place in June this year.

The 18-year-old was arrested yesterday by detectives from Strike Force Trident.

Serious Crime Squad members have charged him with:

  • 1 x Trespass on premises
  • 3 x Unlawful entry - dwelling
  • 1 x Stealing
  • 2 x Damage to property
  • 3 x Robbery - aggravated
  • 2 x Unlawful use of motor vehicle - aggravated
  • 1 x Unlawfully cause serious harm

He was remanded to appear before Darwin Local Court today.

Detective Senior Sergeant Annette Cooper said, "The Serious Crime Squad along with Strike Force Trident have now charged four individuals in relation to this violent incident and investigations continue still.

"The community can rest assured that we will continue to thoroughly investigate until everyone involved faces court for their actions, regardless of how much time has passed since the offending."
