Police are investigating a further incident following ongoing unrest in the Wadeye community.
Around 4:15am, the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre received multiple reports that of up to 15 people were fighting with weapons near the Wadeye Community Health Centre.
Police attended and the group dispersed, with one 34-year-old male later presenting at the health centre with a crossbow bolt lodged in his arm.
He was subsequently conveyed to Darwin via CareFlight for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident is believed to be linked to a dispute that began on Monday 5 January 2025.
