Northern Territory Police have a youth in custody in relation to an assault on a child in Ludmilla earlier this week.
The 15-year-old male has been in custody in relation to the property offending since Wednesday and forensic analysis has now linked him to the assault on 1 June.
Police expect to lay additional charges against the youth.
