Police update: driver charge after fatal traffic crash at Homebuh in October

Police from the Mackay Forensic Crash Unit today charged a man with dangerous driving and drink driving following investigations into a two-vehicle crash at Homebush on October 6 in which a 43-year-old Sarina woman died.

A 25-year-old McEwens Beach man is due to appear in the Mackay Magistrates Court on January 27, 2021 on charges of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death and did drive over the general alcohol limit but not over the middle alcohol limit.
