Police Update: Fatal House Fire Charges, Toolooa

A 37-year-old Toolooa woman has been charged with murder and arson offences following a house fire at Toolooa on 15 October.

Shortly before 6am, police and emergency services were called to reports of a Whiting Street property on fire.

Upon arrival, the house was fully engulfed, and the fire was extinguished a short time later.

Three people were located deceased within the residence.

The bodies of a 36-year-old woman and 13-year-old boy from Toolooa, and a 12-year-old boy from Barney Point were identified.

A 37-year-old woman from Toolooa has been charged with three counts of murder, and two counts of arson.

She is expected to face a bedside hearing today, 24 October.
