Detectives have charged a man with manslaughter following a fatal traffic crash in Woodford yesterday, 5 May.
It will be alleged the man was driving a stolen white Isuzu Dmax utility on Archers Street around 6.10am when it collided head on with an orange Toyota Corolla.
The driver of the Toyota, a 60-year-old Caboolture South woman, died at the scene.
The male driver of the ute fled the scene on foot but was later located at a nearby educational facility.
The ute had been reported stolen from an address on McLoughlin Road in Morayfield around 3.45am Tuesday.
The 31-year-old Ellen Grove man has been charged with one count each of manslaughter, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, driver fail to remain at incident, disqualified driving, drug driving, and two counts of trespass. He will appear in the Caboolture Magistrates Court today, Wednesday 6 May.
