Police update: Fire investigation, Logan Central

A man has died in hospital this afternoon, following a fire at Logan Central overnight.

Police were called to Wilbur Street around 11pm to find a caravan alight.

The two occupants of the caravan – a 22-year-old Logan Central man and a 20-year-old Capalaba woman – suffered serious burns and were transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in critical conditions.

The 22-year-old man passed away at midday today.

A crime scene has been established and investigations into the cause of the fire continue, although preliminary investigations indicate the fire is not suspicious.
