Specialist police searching bushland near Toowoomba Range for a missing 28-year-old man have located human remains this morning.
The body is yet to be formally identified and will undergo forensic examination.
At this stage, there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
Police have been conducting extensive enquiries and search activity since the 28-year-old was reported missing last year.
He was last seen entering bushland behind Gilmour Crest in Toowoomba at around midday on Saturday, November 24, 2018.
