Police update: Robbery with violence, Arundel

A 32-year-old Parkwood woman has been arrested and charged with Robbery in Company and Unlawful Use of a Motor Vehicle.

The woman will appear in the Southport Magistrates Court tomorrow.

It will be alleged that at around 10.40pm on July 5 a 20-year-old man was sitting in his car at the rear of a Napper Road shopping centre when an unknown woman approached the vehicle and started a conversation with him.

It will be further alleged the woman hopped into the vehicle and continued talking to the 20 year-old man at which point another man approached the vehicle and started threatening him. The woman then started punching the man.

The man got out of his vehicle and the woman jumped into the driver's seat and drove off.

A 47-year-old Southport man was also charged him with robbery with violence and in company, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and possession of a restricted drug.
