Police update: Second man dies after crash - Marsden Park

A second man has died in hospital early this morning after being critically injured in a three-car crash at Marsden Park last night.

About 9.20pm (Wednesday 20 November 2019), a Subaru was travelling south on Richmond Road when it collided with the rear of a Mitsubishi travelling in the same direction.

The force of the crash sent the Subaru into the path of a third vehicle, a Hyundai, that was heading north.

The 29-year-old male driver of the Subaru died at the scene, while the 22-year-old driver of the Hyundai was airlifted to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition. Sadly, he was unable to recover from his injuries and died early this morning.

The 22-year-old female driver of the Mitsubishi was uninjured.

Investigations into the cause of the crash continue by officers from Mt Druitt Police Area Command.
