Police update: Serious traffic crash at Boyland

Police are urging a 70-year-old male driver of a red hatch back which was the first car hit by trampoline parts, that came off the back of a Toyota Hilux today, to urgently contact police.

The red hatch was heading north bound at the time, it stopped a few kilometres down the road near a turf farm, however the driver failed to wait to speak with police about the incident.

Police are investigating a serious traffic crash at Boyland this afternoon, which resulted in two drivers sustaining head injuries after parts from a trampoline collided with their vehicles.

Preliminary investigations indicate that around 12.20pm, a Toyota Hilux carrying a trampoline was travelling West bound along Mundoolun Connection Road, when the trampoline parts detached.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
