Police Update: Serious Traffic Crash At Sarina

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating following a serious single-vehicle traffic crash at Sarina on 13 May.

Around 6.15pm, police and emergency services were called to reports that a Toyota Hilux utility lost control and crashed outside a Sarina Homebush Road address.

The 25-year-old male driver sustained minor injuries, while a 29-year-old female passenger sustained life-threatening head injuries.

Both were transported to Mackay Base Hospital for treatment where the woman has since died.

Anyone with relevant information or dashcam footage is urged to contact police.

Investigations are ongoing.
