Cairns Detectives have charged a man with murder following the suspicious death of a man at Mooroobool yesterday.
Officers were initially called to a Lotus Place address around 1.40pm where they located a 76-year-old local man deceased.
A 51-year-old man who is known to the man was located at a Whitfield residence a short time later.
He has since been charged with one count of murder (domestic violence offence) and is expected to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court tomorrow, December 11.
