Acacia Ridge Detectives have charged a 33-year-old Woodridge woman following investigations into a suspicious fire at a tobacconist in Acacia Ridge last month.
Officers conducted a search warrant at a Paterson Street, Woodridge address on Friday, April 5, where they located the woman, as well as a firearm and two stolen vehicles.
One of the stolen vehicles is a Toyota Corolla Hatchback, reported stolen from a Blackmore Street, Windsor address on February 18. The other, also a Toyota Corolla Hatchback, is a hire car that was never returned.
The 33-year-old Woodridge woman has been charged with two counts of endangering particular property by fire and one count each of arson, unlawful use of motor vehicle, unlawful possession of motor vehicle with intent to deprive, unlawful possession of weapons, possessing dangerous drugs, possessing relevant substance or things and possessing anything for use in the commission of crime.
She has been refused police bail and is due to appear in Richlands Magistrates Court on April 8.
