Police update: Two arrested in Armed Robbery, Deeragun

Police have arrested two boys in relation to a robbery of a Townsville convenience store Monday March 18.

A 15-year-old and 17-year-old have been charged with armed robbery.

At around 9.40 pm the men entered the business on Deeragun Road in Deeragun and pointed a firearm at a 26-year-old male and 17-year-old female employee, demanding money.

The two men then jumped the counter and took cigarettes and cash before fleeing the scene, possibly in a white vehicle.
