Police update: Wounding at Toowoomba

Detectives from Toowoomba have arrested and charged a 26-year-old Toowoomba man with wounding after he attended Toowoomba Police Station early this afternoon.

His bail was refused and he is scheduled to appear at the Toowoomba Magistrates Court tomorrow (August 3).

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed at a Toowoomba service station this morning.

Two men, believed to be known to each other, attended a service station on Bridge Street just after 10am.

One man stabbed the other, a 26-year-old, before returning to his white Toyota Camry and driving off.

The 26-year-old received a non-life-threatening wound and was transported to hospital.

Anyone with information on the car's whereabouts, or who witnessed the incident, are encouraged to come forward to police.
