Police have charged a 27-year-old man following a wounding incident at Riverview yesterday morning, 19 March.
Around 9.30am emergency services were initially called to Caroline Street following reports of a woman sustaining a stab wound.
Officers arrived on scene a short time later and located a 26-year-old Holland Park West woman with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. She was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
A 27-year-old Riverview man was located nearby a short time later and taken into custody.
He has been charged with one count each of acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm (domestic violence offence), producing dangerous drugs, possessing anything used in the commission of crime defined in Part 2, possessing dangerous drugs, unlawful possession of weapons category A, B or M and possession of a knife.
He has been held in custody and is due to appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court today, 20 March.
