Police have charged a 14-year-old boy following an alleged wounding at Robina on Thursday, January 16.
Around 5:30pm, a 13-year-old was with a group of friends at a shopping centre on Robina Town Centre Drive when they were approached by another group of males.
A physical altercation took place between the two groups in parkland off Arbour Lane.
The 14-year-old allegedly slashed the 13-year-old boy with a knife, which caused him to fall to the ground.
The teenager allegedly continued to assault him and has since been charged with one count each of grievous bodily harm, possessing dangerous drugs, possessing a drug utensil, unauthorised dealing with shop goods and obstructing a police officer.
He is due to appear in Southport Childrens Court later this month.
