Policing presence to reassure communities

With the weather clearing in some parts of the state, NSW Police continues to work closely with other agencies to support flood affected communities.

Police officers will have a high visibility presence and will remain on high alert to any suspicious behaviour.

Marine Area Command officers will be patrolling flood affected areas throughout the day and night, to make sure the community is kept safe.

To date, there have been no reports of steal or break and enter offences in flood affected areas. NSW Police Force has reassured the community they will respond swiftly to any reports.
