Port Phillip to Host 2026 Interfaith Networks Festival

City of Port Phillip
At the 19 November Council Meeting, Council and the Port Phillip Multifaith Network were presented the 'Victorian Interfaith Networks Conference' Message Stick' acknowledging City of Port Phillip as the host of the 2026 Victorian Interfaith Networks Festival.

The Message Stick represents a tradition of passing responsibility and trust between communities. By receiving it, we and the Port Phillip Multifaith Network reaffirm our commitment to fostering interfaith dialogue, inclusion, and cultural understanding.

The Victorian Interfaith Networks Festival is delivered annually by the Faith Communities Council of Victoria (FCCV) in partnership with local Councils and interfaith networks.

Each year the event is held in a different Local Government Area (LGA) to showcase the various faith communities living in that region.

We thank the Faith Communities Council of Victoria and Multifaith community for selecting us to host the 2026 edition and we look forward to showcasing our Multifaith community.

The Victorian Interfaith Networks Festival 2026 is expected to be held in November 2026.
