Two new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in the Northern Territory in the past 24 hours.
A 20 year old male and a 19 year old male, both US Marines, arrived as part of the Marine Rotational Force – Darwin on 9 April 2021, have tested positive for COVID-19.
Both males are asymptomatic and remain under the care of the AUSMAT team at the NT Centre for National Resilience.
The total number of cases diagnosed in the Northern Territory is 170. All cases have been related to international or interstate travel, with no cases of community transmission.
