Postal voting closing soon

Council elections will be held on Saturday 4 December.

If you are concerned about the COVID-19 situation, it's not too late to apply for a postal vote. Applications close at 5pm, Monday 29 November and pre-poll voting for the upcoming Council elections close at 6pm, Friday 3 November.

Under the current Public Health Order, voting is an exempt activity, which means unvaccinated residents can vote at pre-polling stations or polling places on election day.

Voting is compulsory and absentee voting is not an option at local elections. If you are on the electoral roll and don't vote before the cut-off date or on election day, Saturday 4 December, you will be fined.
