Council will undertake patching works on Powlett Street, Broadford on Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 February, weather permitting.
These works will improve sections of the road base and prepare the surface for a full road reseal, which will be scheduled at a later date.
How will I be impacted?
To safely complete the works:
- Powlett Street will be closed between Gavan Street and High Street
- Traffic management will be in place on Gavan Street between the pedestrian crossing and the Powlett Street roundabout
- Detours will be in place
- Local traffic will still be able to access homes and businesses, however delays are expected.
- Drivers are asked to allow extra travel time and follow the direction of traffic controllers and signage.
The date for the full reseal will be confirmed once scheduled.
