Prison escapees in Alice Springs

Northern Territory Police are currently searching for two men who escaped from the Reintegration Accommodation Facility at the Alice Springs Correctional Centre.

24-year-old Grant Moore and 23-year-old Brendon Payne left the cottages at the facility sometime between 8:20pm and 11:00pm last night.

Grant Moore is described as an Indigenous male, 160 centimetres tall, and was last seen wearing a green t-shirt and cream-coloured pants. He has a 'GP' tattooed on his forearm.

Brendon Payne is described as an Indigenous male, 170 centimetres tall, and was last seen wearing a green t-shirt and cream-coloured pants.

Anyone who sights the men is asked not to approach them but to contact police immediately.
