Summary
Stats NZ collects Tātou Collective Whānau Ora data from Tātou Collective by agreement with the Statistician under Section 22(c)(i) of the Data and Statistics Act 2022, for the purpose(s) of research under Part 5 of the Data and Statistics Act 2022.
After collection, Stats NZ integrates Tātou Collective Whānau Ora data into the IDI. Once integrated, Stats NZ governs access to the data for research purposes according to Part 5 of the Data and Statistics Act 2022.
The Tātou Collective Whānau Ora data contains information about operational delivery of the Whānau Ora service − Navigator Services. This data will include information about whānau assessed as having complex needs which can be supported by the Whānau Ora programme. Tātou Collective are focused on supporting Pacific people.
The initial collection of this data was collected from or contained information about approximately 1,000 individuals. Each subsequent collection of this data will be collected from or contain information about an increasing number of individuals.
Stats NZ collects the data three times a year.
As specified by the Tātou Collective, Stats NZ has agreed to the following additional access conditions on this data:
- Stats NZ will seek approval from Tātou Collective prior to authorising access to a research project under Part 5 of the Data and Statistics Act 2022.
As specified by the Tātou Collective, Stats NZ has agreed to the following additional retention and disposal conditions on this data:
- This data file must be destroyed after successful integration.
