Detectives have commenced investigations into the drive by shootings of three homes in Sydney's southwest overnight.
About 10.45pm (Friday 24 April 2026), emergency services responded to reports of shots fired at a house on Clarence Street, Merrylands.
A short time later, police received reports of gunshots at a home on nearby Lockwood Street, Merrylands.
About 11pm yesterday, police were also called to a home on Monash Street, Wentworthville, following reports of a third public place shooting.
Officers attended all three locations and established crime scenes.
No injuries were reported during any of the shootings.
Detectives attached to Cumberland Police Area Command and State Crime Command's Taskforce Falcon have taken carriage of the investigation and inquiries into the incidents have commenced.
Following initial inquiries, detectives have been told that an unknown vehicle was seen outside each of the homes before the occupants of the vehicle fired several rounds into the properties.
As investigations continue, detectives are hoping to speak to the driver of a white Hyundai sedan that was seen driving away from the Wentworthville home around the time of the shooting.
