Probe Launched After Suspicious Fire in Deniliquin

Investigations are underway following a suspicious fire in Deniliquin this morning.

About 4.30am (Friday 18 April 2025), emergency services were called to a store on Napier Street, Deniliquin, following reports of a fire.

NSW Fire and Rescue officers extinguished the blaze a short time later; however, the store was significantly damaged.

Police have received no reports of injury.

A crime scene has been established and an investigation by officers from Murray River Police District into the circumstances of the fire are underway.
