Pedestrian Dies After Magpie Collision

Moorabool Highway Patrol officers are investigating after a man was hit by a car in Magpie last night.

It is understood the pedestrian was walking along the Midland Highway, near Magpie Road, when they were struck by a car about 10.40pm.

Emergency services worked on the pedestrian at the scene however he sadly died.

The driver and sole occupant of the car, a 54-year-old woman, stopped at the scene and has been spoken to by police.

An investigation into the circumstances of the collision is underway.
