Police have charged a man and a woman following an ongoing investigation into stolen property and drug offences in Goondiwindi.
On 1 June, detectives from the Goondiwindi Criminal Investigation Branch executed a search warrant at a Sandhurst Street property allegedly locating a quantity of methamphetamine and drug utensils.
Police will further allege they also located 25 stolen power tools including, 10 drills, two nail guns, a blower, grinder, plainer and a drop saw as well as electrical items including batteries and charges along with stolen jewellery.
It is alleged the property was stolen from several homes and vehicles in the Goondiwindi area between February and May this year.
A 42-year-old Goondiwindi woman has been charged with 13 counts of supplying drugs, two counts each of possess dangerous drugs, possessing anything for use in the commission of crime and receiving tainted goods and one count each of possess property suspected of having been acquired for the purpose of committing a drug offence, possession of property suspected of being the proceeds of an offence and enter premises and commit indictable offence.
A 27-year-old Goondiwindi man has been charged with three counts of receiving tainted goods and one count of enter premises and commit indictable offence.
They are both due to appear in Goondiwindi Magistrates Court on 24 June.
