Property crime arrest at Condon

Townsville police from Tactical Crime Squad, Kirwan station and the Dog Squad located and arrested a man wanted in relation for property offences.

Around 7pm last night, December 18, Police Dog Uzi tracked the 18-year-old male for 18 minutes through backyards around Condon. The male was located by PD Uzi hiding under a vehicle in a carport in Gouldian Avenue.

The 18-year-old Condon male was charged with three counts of trespass, and one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and obstructing police. He is due to appear in Townsville Magistrates Court on January 10.

Townsville police continue to investigate property crime and arrest individuals who commit these offences and put them before the courts.
