Police have charged eight teenagers with 106 property crime offences in the past week in Blackwater.
Police will allege the offences involve a number of unlawful use of motor vehicle and break and enter offences which occurred throughout July and August.
Between 1 to 6 August police executed a number of search warrants across the Blackwater area where eight people were arrested and charged.
A 14-year-old Blackwater boy has been charged with 12 counts of enter premise and commit indictable offence by break, eight counts of unlawful use of motor vehicle in night in company, two counts of attempted Enter premise with intent, and one count each of enter dwelling with intent by break at night, attempted Enter premise and commit, attempted Enter dwelling with intent in company, enter premise with intent, and wilful damage.
A 15-year-old Blackwater boy has been charged with seven counts of enter premise and commit indictable offence, six counts of unlawful use of motor vehicle in night in company, and one count each of enter premise with intent, enter dwelling and commit, enter dwelling with intent, and wilful damage.
A 14-year-old Blackwater boy has been charged with four counts of unlawful use of motor vehicle in company, and one count each of enter premise and commit indicatable offence by break, wilful damage, enter dwelling and commit, and enter dwelling with intent by break at night.
A 13-year-old Blackwater boy has been charged with five counts each of enter premise and commit by break, and unlawful use of a motor vehicle in company, and one count each of wilful damage, enter premises and commit and unlawful use of a motor vehicle in company, attempt enter premises and commit by break, and attempt unlawful use of a motor vehicle in company.
The four boys are due to appear before Blackwater Childrens Court on 2 October.
A 19-year-old Blackwater man has been charged with four counts of enter premises and commit by break, three counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle in company, and one count each of attempted unlawful use of a motor vehicle in company, enter premises and commit and unlawful use of a motor vehicle in company, and attempt enter premises and commit by break.
He is due to appear before Blackwater Magistrates Court on 28 August.
A 16-year-old Blackwater boy has been charged with six counts of enter premises and commit indictable offence by break, five counts of unlawful use of motor vehicle aircraft or vessels in company, and one count of attempted enter premises and commit indictable offence by break.
He is due to reappear before Blackwater Childrens Court on 28 August.
A 15-year-old Blackwater boy has been charged with two counts each of enter premise and commit indictable offence by break, and unlawful use of motor vehicle in company, and one count each of wilful damage, and attempted unlawful use of motor vehicle in company.
A 13-year-old Blackwater boy has been charged with four counts of unlawful use of motor vehicle, two counts each of Enter premise and commit indictable offence by break, and enter dwelling with intent by break at night, and one count each of wilful damage, and enter dwelling and commit.
Both boys were dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.
