Property Crime Charges At Yeppoon

Police have charged a man following an alleged business break in overnight, May 2.

Around 3am, police were called to a Charles Street business where glass window panels had been removed.

A man fled from the address and was taken into custody a short time later.

It will be alleged the same man entered a Hutton Street property earlier that evening around midnight and stole a number of items.

A 22-year-old Taranganba man has been charged with enter premises and commit, enter dwelling and commit, possessing dangerous drugs, obstruct police officer and receiving tainted property.

He is due to appear before Rockhampton Magistrates Court today, May 2.
