Property Crime Chargesin Brisbane's South 26 April

Police have charged a 13-year-old Cherbourg boy following a series of alleged break and enters in the Brisbane's south earlier this week.

Initial information indicate that a group of four people allegedly attempted to gain entry to several properties on Tweeddale Circuit, Drewvale at 3.30pm on April 21 and were unsuccessful.

They left in a black SUV.

Later that evening and into the following morning, the same group attempted to gain entry to several properties in Coorparoo, Carina, Camp Hill and Holland Park West.

Various property including keys, e-scooter at a few of the properties, a small amount of cash was allegedly stolen from a couple properties.

Police arrested a 13-year-old boy in Crestmead on April 25 around 9pm.

He has been charged three counts of enter dwelling and commit, six counts of attempted enter dwelling with intent, two counts each of enter premises and commit indictable offence, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, serious assault of public officer and one count each of stealing, enter dwelling with intent by break at night and attempted enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence.

He is due to reappear before Brisbane Childrens Court on May 6.

Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Ben Henderson said Dutton Park Criminal Investigation Branch was committed to keeping the local community safe.

"Everyone deserves to feel safe in their homes and neighbourhood," he said.

"Police are dedicated to seeking justice for victims by holding perpetrators to account and strategically co-ordinate efforts to disrupt and prevent crime.

"We encourage anyone with information that may assist with investigations to contact police."

Police are appealing for anyone that may have sighted this vehicle in those area between 3.30pm on April 21 to 5am on April 22 to contact investigators.

Investigations are continuing.
